The Villa
In the 1800s, the land where the villa now stands was privatized. Villa Noseda was built in 1943 and served as a garage and servants’ house to the adjacent historic villa.
In the 1960s, the villa was divided into two separate properties and restored. Our family bought the property in 2004 and restored it once again to its current layout and design.
A Historic Gateway on Lake Como
Before Villa Noseda was built, its current garden was once used as a public dock for the Comballi, merchant boats used for the transport of heavy weights such as the Sasso di Moltrasio, and the smaller boat, Lucia, for the exchange of goods such as vegetables, fish, olives and olive oil to be sold in the town square of Moltrasio.
The Comballi were sailing boats that used the Tivano and Breva winds, which blow from the north in the morning and from the south in the evening respectively, to carry merchandise on Lake Como.

Our Family
Emanuele, holding a master’s degree in management, oversees the operational aspects of our splendid estate and manages guest relations, ensuring a flawless experience.
Elia, a versatile steward, supervises the garden, boats, and website, ensuring the precise maintenance of all services.
Edoardo, an entrepreneur, spearheads an eco-friendly electric moped startup on the lake, offering alternative transportation to those in need. At the helm of this familial ensemble is Caterina, an architect whose refined taste permeates throughout the interior and exterior design of Villa Noseda.
Together, our family weaves a tapestry of unforgettable moments for our guests, inviting you to experience the essence of Italian luxury in a setting that feels like home.

Villa Noseda is located in Moltrasio, one of the most charming villages on the western shore of Lake Como.

One of the advantages of Villa Noseda is its convenient location.
The villa is approximately 20 minutes from Como, 45 minutes from Milan Malpensa Airport and about one hour from Milan, making it easy for international guests to reach while still enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of the lake.
